Avalon College Advising offers a complement of services that support students through the entire college application process. Students can take advantage of our services with one or more of the below options.

Getting Started

College List - $450: To set you up for success, we will review your entire profile and make recommendations for a balanced, appropriate college list.

General Brainstorming Meeting - $450. Includes one meeting in which we'll identify specific values, characteristics, talents, and experiences to present in the college application(s).

Brainstorming for Essay Topics - $450. Includes brainstorming and strategizing to incorporate knowledge of college programs in supplemental essays. Discussion of initial content and structure.

General Advising Session - $450. Includes one meeting in which we review areas of the college application process that are of specific interest to the student, and address other needs or concerns.

University of California Essays | Common App Personal Statement | Activities

Development of the UC Application Essays - $2200: (4 essays) Includes a brainstorming session, topics selected per essay question and unlimited feedback (3 week process).

Development of Common Application Personal Statement - $1700: Includes a brainstorming session and unlimited feedback (3 week process).

Activities List - $450.00. Includes a 25-Minute Meeting and limited follow-up revisions to finalize the activities information for the Common Application, the University of California Application and the Coalition Application.

Essay Review - $125 per draft: Includes detailed commentary and feedback.

College Interviews - $325: Practice interview strategies and techniques in preparation for admission interviews.
