Monthly Update – December 2019

2019 was a busy year for Avalon College Advising!
  • We guided and successfully placed our 2019 seniors at great universities and best-fit colleges.
  • We hosted countless workshops for parents and students such as The Building Blocks of Applying to College, Financial Aid with Pierre Jospe of Financial Aid Navigator, College Essay Writing and Personality Traits and Choosing a College Major.
  • We held informational group coffees hosted by clients and friends and spoke at different community events including the inaugural Resolution Reboot – a community wellness event where we spoke about stress free college advising.
  • We visited schools and met admission officers and college representatives (internationally!) – and invited several into our office to meet with you.
  • We published The Ultimate Summer Program Guide in January and will launch CINCH this month, an app that makes finding the right summer experience for your student easy! (contact us for more information).
Our greatest accomplishment and joy, however, has been meeting and working with you and your families this year. We are extremely grateful for your trust and support.
